ESG at NetZero

Following best-in-class Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) standards is at the heart of NetZero's mission, business model, and culture.

NetZero's environmental and social action plan has been built around the IFC Performance Standards on Environmental and Social Sustainability, the world's reference framework for corporate ESG and health and safety action.

Compliance with these requirements is monitored by NetZero's ESG Committee, composed of several non-executive professionals with decade-long experience in ESG and sustainability.

Safety

From hardware design to operational procedures, safety always takes precedence, with zero tolerance for shortcuts — not as a stated value, but as a daily practice at every level.

Quality

From feedstock selection to product certification, we set high quality standards and rigorously control their application, refusing to compromise on expectations.

Delivery

Once Safety and Quality criteria are met, we do everything in our power to meet agreed timelines — but we will never ship a product that falls short of our standards just to hit a date.

Cost as a consequence

We are not the cheapest player in the industry – precisely because we refuse to compromise on our standards, and doing so has a cost. We think this is the only right way.

Our ESG policies

NetZero has a comprehensive set of ESG policies that govern its operations. These policies are applicable to both staff and suppliers.

Whistleblowing and grievances

To ensure that all stakeholders can speak up and signal violations of our policies or of the law, NetZero offers an anonymous channel for whistleblowing and grievances.

Messages sent through this channel are examined and sorted by an independent company, then processed by NetZero. For the most serious cases of violations, messages are directly escalated to non-executive members of NetZero's Board and ESG Committee, who are in charge of independently and confidentially investigating the matter.
